This tailpiece
guitar brings together the Jones Kendall desire for innovation
and our love of traditional methods of working. Timber takes a
hundred years to grow, our climate controlled storage of at least
two years is a small price to pay for the stability it ensures.
Sonny’s origin of design pays homage to the early carved
top tailpiece guitars.
We designed this guitars with 1930's swing
in mind, with the tone and resonance that the early jazz guitars
inspire. Sonny has a solid spruce top with pronounced arching
and uniquely strutted soundboard. Back and sides made from figured
maple help the clean and fast attack of each note and the in-built
reverb these guitars possess make it a fine instrument.
Sunny works fantastically well acoustically
as well as plugged in. Contact us about pickup options. If you
know what you want from a guitar, Sonny may help you achieve it
